Our Goals

NRE Report

Our goal is to obtain yearly communication of an extensive NRE report covering the whole scope defined by the law and demonstrating that corporate social reporting may be more than a mere opportunity to greenwash a Group’s reputation in social issues by giving evidence of positive action.

Global Compact

Our goal is to obtain our Group to enact core values to which it has committed by joining the Global Compact. This means not overlooking any of the ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour standards and environmental protection.

Our goal is to obtain that these actions and progress obtained should be listed in a yearly report submitted to the various Works Councils and Union Representatives.
Our goal is to obtain that implementation of the 10 principles should be checked by a third party. Employees’ Unions would be the best party to carry out these checks.

OECD

OECD Guidelines for multinational enterprises specify that multinational companies should:
2.a Provide facilities to employee representatives as may be necessary to assist in the development of effective collective agreements.

Our goal to guarantee transparency is to obtain, within the scope of this requirement, that Employees’ representatives should have the following rights: right to travel outside their own country within their paid time allowance to carry out representative duties, access to subsidiaries, and that payment of travelling expenses should paid by the employer within a negotiated budget.

Works Council

Our goal is to help this first international social dialogue entity in the Group to be a useful tool for employees in all countries concerned to raise to an equal level the social standards rights and benefits in all European countries.

Competition between the Group’s entities is fruitless: our goal is to promote the idea of a common Declaration of all members of the European Works Council rejecting project workhours relocation on the basis of wage inequalities in Europe.

Global Framework Agreement

Our goal is to obtain negotiation of a global framework agreement setting minimum social standards and benefits in the TECHNIP Group applicable in all entities.
